01 · The situation

Nurturing people who already bought.

Creator Army wanted to keep nurturing leads toward purchase, but anyone who had already bought was still receiving the same email sequences asking them to sign up.

It is a common problem: the CRM does not know what the community platform knows, so people who are already members keep getting sold to.

02 · What we built

Webhook to exclusion.

A clean Make.com workaround: when a member buys, Circle's webhook fires to Make.com, which tells HubSpot the member has purchased, updates their status property, and removes them from any lead nurturing workflows.

Simple, reliable, and built to run without anyone monitoring it.

03 · How it works

Circle fires, HubSpot listens.

The moment a purchase is confirmed in Circle, a webhook fires. Make.com catches it, identifies the contact in HubSpot, flips their status to purchased, and triggers the workflow removal. The whole chain runs in seconds.

Clean sequences, happy members.
